Sirmione-Lake Garda-Italy

We rode on a Vaporetto to the Marco Polo Airport in Venice. It is the first time, and probably my only time, that I will ride a water vehicle directly to an airport. How fun was that? We picked up our rental car and off we drove. We drove on the Autostrada (freeway) and we didn't stop in Padua and we didn't stop in Verona. It would have been cool to stop in Verona to see Juliet's house (Romeo and Juliet). But I had seen enough and we just wanted to get to the hotel early and just relax, so we did. We stayed in a cute medieval walled town called Sirmione with a castle! And a moat! It had narrow streets and cute little shops, restaurants, and gellato shops! Take a peek with these pictures!

These are some pictures we took getting to our Hotel!
