Abilene Abilene prettiest town I've Ever Seen

We left Hobbs, New Mexico at 7am but as soon as we crossed into Texas, like 5 minutes later, we lost an hour! Boy that doesn't feel good when you have to drive 213 miles! But driving to Abilene was a great idea because we are going to visit our son in laws parents! We are going to Abilene, Texas because we went way down to Roswell, New Mexico and Abilene is a straight shot from Hobbs!

Have you ever had friends or family that you saw every couple of years but as soon as you were with them, you just pick up where you left off? We are just so comfortable with them and it is just so easy and relaxing! Just sitting in their house chatting for hours and just listening or talking. Seeing what they have done to their house, what we all have been up to and of course at our age, our medical/ age issues :)

We went to dinner at Cracker Barrel and chatted some more and had our waitress take our picture! Happy Birthday Marc and hopefully next time through we can stay a few nights and visit those old Texan town! So enjoyed our visit and will miss out easy talks Rhonda!
