Yorktown Virginia

Since we saw Jamestown, we thought we would see Yorktown. The sad thing about this trip, is back in 1989, Bud, Misty, Travis and I came back here with the DeBellis’ Family. We went to Williamsburg and Bush Gardens but I didn’t hear about Jamestown so we didn’t see it. That is why Bud and I came back here to see it all!!! Yorktown was very small, extremely small but cute! People live here just not in the few houses that are part of the historical buildings. Here is where George Washington secured America’s independence in 1781. There is also a Civil War National Cemetery here. There is a main street and a river walk which on beautiful days, one can meander through shops and little cafes all along the street by the river.
