Belfast International Airport and Belfast Christmas Market

I know you are probably sitting on the edge of your seats because you want to know if we made it to the airport on time to return the rental car? Well we did, we were 10 minutes late driving in the return area but that little Hertz office was closed so Bud had to go into the airport to the desk and return the key. But after Bud explained the trouble we had had with the two cars we had she said she would mark us in at 3pm! Whew! So happy that we could see Giant's Causeway!

Oh and I left you hanging about how to get to our hotel. I knew the hotel was at the airport, but I know that most hotels that say they are at the airport aren't really at the airport, they have to pick you up on a shuttle bus and drive you to their hotel, not so the Madron Hotel, they are literally at the airport, in fact they were right across the street from the Hertz rental car return area. So we rolled our bags over to the hotel, checked in and we upstairs to our room. Then we went over to the airport, we walked right over to the airport from the hotel and checked things out. The airport had a little visitors center and I talked with the lady there. She said there was a bus that went down into Belfast Center and round trip was 10.50 pounds each person. So Bud and I took the bus down and went to the Historic City Hall and outside of it there was like 30 tents with food and crafts and candy at the Belfast Christmas Market! This was the front!

This is where we bought a bratwurst on a bun and some potatoes cooked with onion and beef! Both were delicious!
This is the shop I bought some ornaments!
Do reindeer really fly! Yes they do!
Is this enough candy?
Bud looking for the best Christmas Tree!
And I am looking for spring!
No I'm not! I love Christmas!

And even at the Belfast International Airport there was Christmas!

And our hotel was Christmasy too!
Bud took close up pictures! So beautiful!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!
