I don' want you my friends and family to think that everything has gone according to plan and that nothing has gone wrong because wrong is a part of life whether you travel or stay at home. Decisions have to be made whether or not you have all the information you need. Which way to turn, which way to go, where to eat, what to eat, where to stay, what to see...You get my point. In all these decisions we make, and in a roundabout or an exit off a Motorway, that decision has to be made in seconds. You can't think about it or process it too much. So we guess. If we guess wrong we turn around and go back and hopefully by the time you get back to the wrong turn you can see a sign or ask a person to help you! And I have done that alot, ask for help from people behind counters, behind desks, on bikes, going to work, coming home, old young, male or female!
Feeling my way through the darkness
Guided by a beating heart
I can't tell where the journey will end
But I know where it starts
They tell me I am too young to understand
They say I am caught up in a dream
Well life will pass me by if I don't open up my eyes
Well that's fine by me
So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
And I didn't know I was lost
I tried carrying the weight of the world
But I only have two hands
I hope I get the chance to travel the world
And I don't have any plans
I wish I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life's a game made for everyone
And love is a prize
So wake me up when it's all over
When I'm wiser and I'm older
All this time I was finding myself
I didn't know I was lost
And we are not lost! We have a map, we have an ability to ask for help (and maybe the reason we can ask people for help is we kissed the Blarney Stone and that gave us the gift of gab!) and sometimes we just guess and go with it! I just anticipate a wrong turn each time we come into a small town and we are looking for our home for the night and I know sooner or later we will get there. And sometimes the way we end up is better than the planned option...sometimes :)
