On The Fifth Day of Christmas My True Love Gave To Me: Arundel Castle

We woke up this morning to some blue sky! What a very nice surprise! We are not going to complain about the weather though because we have been so very very very fortunate! Thank you Lord!!! We got up and had breakfast and got our suitcases out of the car and put all the souvenirs bought so far along with clothes we didn't want to take with us on the second half of our journey and put them into two post office boxes and taped them up and took them to the post office and shipped them home! Now my suitcase is 16.2kg and Bud is 15.8kg. We are allowed 20kg each on our flights and we have 4 different flights so we should be ok.

Then we went out and saw the castle from a distance because it is closed this time of year! Too bad because it is a beautiful castle and it was right behind our hotel and we could walk to it!

This is the outside of our hotel. We were in what they called the courtyard! Our room was 3rd one form the left!
And then the Arundel Castle was right behind it!
Then we walked down the street about 3 blocks and saw the guardhouse.

And then the Arundel Castle was right there!

Then when we were walking back to the hotel to get the car we passed a ruin of a Friary.

Then we walked back to the hotel and picked up the car and made our way to the airport! I was sad to be leaving because I have so enjoyed Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England! Very special place and the people have been so friendly and helpful and the history is amazing and they have the old buildings that make you think you are there in so many different centuries!

This are the pictures of the end of our trip in England!

As you can see the last picture I took just before we arrived at the airport was of sheep in the field! I will miss this sight most of all!!!

Goodbye England!!!
