On the Third Day of Christmas My True Love Gave To Me: Corfe Castle and Village

We left the Old Post Office B&B in Swanage this morning after a wonderful breakfast! We drove 4 miles north and stopped at Corfe Castle and it's village! The castle is a ruin now but you can still see how big it was!

This village was just cute. Gift shops a few restaurants and a post office. People live here and commute to work. But I can picture what it was like in the old days. Lots of farmers no cars, horses and wagons and the Castle was used as not only living quarters for the land owner but for protection for the people of the village! Beautiful reminder of the past!
