After breakfast we hopped on the bus and drove to Sakkara to see the oldest temple left standing. It was built in the 28th century for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser by the architect Imhotep. There is a temple here also and is accessed by an impressive colonnade of 40 pillars. We also ate a Bedouin Restaurant that was like a big colorful tent, it was such a great meal!
Wow! 40 pillars! Someone was trying to be impressive. :).
