I have talked only about the sites, which is why we took this Cruise and this shore excursion overnight in Jerusalem. The Hotel Dan is the hotel we stayed at very nice hotel with a pool which we didn't use we were too busy! But we stopped there to check in and we had dinner there after visiting The Wailing Wall. Here are pictures from the two buffets we ate there:
We had some very nice people on the tour with us and it was fun visiting with them during the long bus rides. One always has to have at least one person on the trip that makes it memorable. We had two men that took that prize, not in a positive way! Ed who was at least 60 had a girlfriend with him, She was from Eastern Europe and they had been with each other nine years, she might have been in her early 30's. They sat in front of me in the back of the bus. He told me that he had been sick in the night and they had to call the doctor on board because his blood pressure was high. He takes a prescription for it. Carleigh saw him drinking a bottle of vodka and he smoked like a chimney when outside of the bus. Carleigh overheard him talking to our guide how ugly his girlfriend is but she has rich parents. He was o the phone a lot too! On the Egypt tour they were with us too and the guide had to ask his girlfriend to tell him not to smoke on the on board bathroom. They came back to the bus usually late, but then told others, including me, not to be late that the bus would leave without us! The other guy flirted with anything in skirts and it so embarrassed his wife or girlfriend, we are not sure if they were married or not. Same thing an older man. He followed Carleigh to the bus when she went to get the leg part of her shorts to zip them to make long pants. He was totally strange. Other than that we didn't have anyone else to talk about! lol
Oh people. What can we do about the weirdos? Write all about them in our blogs for one! :)
