Jerusalem-First Day-Jordan River

Well by this time you are probably saying will they ever get to Jerusalem. I know, we have been busy little tourists and we still have a couple hour drive to Jerusalem with one more stop! It is a very historic stop I might add! It is the Jordan River where John The Baptist, Jesus' cousin, baptised Jesus. The historians believe it happened south of here but it is way cool to stand in the Jordan River that many others have been baptised in. There were little fish that kept biting the dead skin off our feet when we stood in the river. It felt really weird, but people in other places actually pay to have this done!

And then we got into the water!

And then out of the baptism area, the locals were enjoying the Jordan River too!
