The Church of the Holy Sepulchre

I thought that you might be a little confused about the pictures about the places of the room where Jesus was readied for crucifixion, His crucifixion, His burial tomb, His resurrection and His ascension. Tradition and research has shown that these events in Jesus' life happened in a very small area. Different churches were built over these different places and now are joined into one big church, called The Church of the Holy Sepulchre. This is a diagram of the places inside the church and this is a picture of the outside of the church. I hope this helps. It was very confusing when we were there. Our guide took us aside and told us to visual nothing there, no buildings no nothing, there was only crosses with Jesus and two other men on them. On a hill. Rocks, a little grass, but no church, no shops, no restaurants, nothing. And that helped.
