Jerusalem-First Day-Dead Sea from Afar

We were able to get a glimpse of the Dead Sea! It was blue and didn't look dead at all. But it is called the Dead Sea because it is 33.7 percent salt so nothing can live in it. Its surface and shores are 1,388 feet below sea level. It is 42 miles long and 11 miles wide. It was a place of refuge for King David at one time. You know seeing something from afar is better than not seeing it at all!!!! You can quote me on that!

You will have to look very closely to be able to see the Dead Sea in these pictures! They were taken from a moving bus and we did the best we could! But I marked the Dead Sea off my bucket list!!!!
